  • 12 chicken wings, fresh or fully thawed, split with tips removed
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • the zest of 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. In a large bowl toss the chicken wings with butter to coat evenly.
  2. In a large zipper bag, combine garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lime zest.

  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. In a bowl combine salt, pepper, and flour.
  2. In a separate bowl, Combine vinegar and hot pepper sauce.

To bake: place in buttered baking dish and bake uncovered for 40 – 45 minutes turning halfway through cook time.

  1. In a shallow bow, combine buttermilk and hot pepper sauce.
  2. Season chicken wings with salt and pepper and marinate covered in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
